- This sleek, sophisticated action-packed movie will blow you out of your seat. It is definitely one of my all time favorites because it possesses the high-tech properties of The Matrix but has a eye-popping style of its own. The opening scene will leave you breathless with anticipation! Christian Bale plays a cop in a world where it is a crime to feel human emotions. The fight scenes and the gun battles makes his film equal to The Matrix! If you're an action junky, you'll want this film in your collection. the DVD includes featurette and several commentaries.

 

Clear and Present Danger
Paramount Pictures Collections

- One of the new collection of Jack Ryan thrillers, this is my personal favorite of the Tom Clancy movies. Elevated to Presidential advisor, Ryan (Harrison Ford) stumbles upon corruption at its highest quarters. This wonderful film outlines covert ops in foreign lands and the use of military against criminals. Well acted and clever, it is the best of the Jack Ryan films. You get a real scene of how the US government and military works and operates. The DVD include interviews and a theatrical trailer. Not to be missed!

 

 

25th Hour
Touchstone Home Entertainment

- One of the best films of 2002, Spike Lee once again delves into the heart of New York City and delivers a riveting story. Edward Norton plays a convicted drug dealer who begins serving a seven-year sentence in less than 24-hours. He's trying to figure out how to survive the coming devastation that his decadent life has reaped. Norton gives a stunning performance! Spike Lee's vision is one of the first post-9/11 looks at NYC and bravely rips the skin off of the cities hidden alleys. The DVD includes commentaries by Lee and the screenwriter, deleted scenes, a Ground Zero tribute and The Evolution of a Filmmaker featurette.

 


X-Men: The Legend of Wolverine

- Fans of the live action X-Men films will enjoy these animated stories based on the comic book heroes. Wolverine discovers his true past in "Out of the Past" Part I and II; Nightcrawler is introduced and there is an additional episode featuring Magneto in "X-Men: the Final Decision." The special features include an interview with the X-men writer, Chris Claremont, Stan Lee's Soap Box, and a wonderful featurette, The Power Behind the X. Fans will want to add this DVD to their collection and it is especially entertaining to those new to the comic books.

- An action-packed, exhilarating space adventure based on the classic Treasure Island. When a spirited lad searches for hidden treasure in a distant planet, he quick learns life's lessons of loyalty, friendship and fun! The directors of The Little Mermaid have created an clever eye-popping world of extra-terrestrials and ships that glide through space at the speed of light terrestrial.

The DVD is stuffed with loads of extras like deleted scenes, a director's visual commentary with additional film footage, music video, a Disney animation featurette and a wonderful 3-D treasure hunt game. It will be hours of fun for the entire family.

- Based on the true life story of Antwone Fisher, this is the story of a young man forced to face his traumatic life in order to secure happiness and success in the future. It also marks the directorial debut of Denzel Washington. This drama is poignant, riveting and stunning in its honest portrayal of child abuse and Fisher's heart-wrenching journey into his psychic wounds. The DVD includes Washington's incredible audio commentary,two featurettes: Meeting Antwone Fisher and a behind the scenes look. It also has an intriguing look at the history of Navy in movies. Definitely a must for Denzel Washington fans!

Schneider's performance as a teenage girl is laugh-out-loud funny and you'll be rolling on the floor! - The fearless explorers from Atlantis: The Lost Empire have returned for three exciting adventures!
